Nyack's Village Board approved the final design of a 5,000 SqFt concrete skatepark to be built in Memorial Park. The park, the first of its kind in Rockland county, is schedule to be completed by late spring 2015. The design emulates the current Tappan Zee Bridge with 2 cascading ramps in the center of the space. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2015 and should take about 6 weeks to complete. I'm looking forward to being able to sit by the Hudson River and watch the skateboard action!
