No Rainfall Records Broken In Nyack So Far This Year

As we sit through yet another rainy weekend I wonder where the sun is?  Turns out this is nowhere near a record breaking rainfall year. That distinction belongs to 2017 where over 68 inches of rain fellImage title (28 inches of it was snow). The average rainfall over the past 15 years has been 44 inches. So far this year we are at 26 inches and have been below average every month since March. I guess I must have a short or convenient memory because I think this is the worse I have ever seen.

There is still lots of time to break the record, but let’s hope we don’t get anywhere near that 68 inch level. In the meantime enjoy the lush green grass and full to capacity reservoirs.
