This Saturday, October 13, Christ Episcopal Church in Sparkill will hold its annual Ecology Day, from 11 AM until 4 PM.  The event will start with a visit from Akta, the "ambassador wolf", and end with a blessing of the animals at 3.  In between, there will be additional presentations, and lots of good food for sale, including my world-famous chili.  My not-so-secret ingredient?  A dollop of Jack Daniels.  Christ Episcopal Church is located in Sparkill at the corner of Union Street and Valentine Avenue.  The parking lot is off of New Street.
