On Sunday, April 10th from 10AM to 1PM at the Rockland County Fire Training Center in Pomona, pet owners can get the rabies vaccine for their cats and dogs. There is no charge for the vaccination, although a $5 donation per pet is requested. Since animal rabies continues to be a serious public health issue in Rockland County, it is important that all animals be vaccinated against rabies and that those vaccinations be kept up to date. So, come on out next Sunday, bring your animals, and get their rabies shot for a mere $5.00! All residents of Rockland County, from Palisades to Stony Point, Piermont to Suffern, are eligible for participation in the program.
