Real Estate Advice

While walking my dog on the So. Nyack trail on Wednesday morning, I ran into a former neighbor/client whom I hadn't seen in a while and who was also walking his dog. As it was Veteran's Day, he was off  from work so able to take the early stroll. After the usual greetings he jumped right in, "So what's the latest  in the Real Estate world in Nyack and did you hear what's happening in my neighborhood?" Yes I had heard, but he filled me in on the inside story of his neighbor who wanted to cut down several trees to improve his river view, only the trees weren't on his property. He asked my advice, we chatted a bit, and made plans to get together soon.

As I made my way back home, I ran into another neighbor, also walking his dog.  "Hey, do you have a second? I need to ask your opinion on something".  He proceeded to ask me about a problem he's having with an investment property he owns in NJ. I gave him my advice on how he should handle it and we went our separate ways.

So much for an early morning walk to clear my head, but the truth is, I was glad that they both felt I was a resource for their real estate issues, and I was happy to help.
