If you think your apple pie is “SPECIAL”, you should consider entering the Piermont Apple pie contest. The event is sponsored by Down to Earth Markets and the Piermont Chamber of Commerce. There is both a home baked and professional category. Local celebrity chefs get to show off their talents and be judged by you. They in turn will judge the home baked pasties. It will be held Sunday, September 27 from 11:00am-5:00pm at the Flywheel Park in Piermont. A fun day is sure to be had by all.

Hopefully your pie will be crowned best in the River Towns.
